Farma of Rhodes supports the Rhodes Regional Branch of the Greek Red Cross

Farma of Rhodes donated equipment to the Rhodes Regional Branch of the Greek Red Cross, helping to enhance the training and operational readiness of its volunteers.

The donated equipment will be used both to train new volunteers and to better prepare the team to respond to first aid and emergency situations.

The Work of the Hellenic Red Cross

The Rhodes Regional Branch of the Hellenic Red Cross is active on a daily basis in providing humanitarian aid and first aid, while also participating in prevention, education, and civil protection initiatives.

Its volunteers stand by the local community, offering support at sporting and cultural events, during emergencies, and through public awareness and education campaigns on first aid and the protection of human life.

Their work is based on training, preparedness, and a constant presence wherever there is a need.

The Contribution of Farma of Rhodes

Farma of Rhodes donation consists of equipment essential for the training and operations of volunteers, such as flashlights, adapters, binoculars, a choking-response training device, and a Saviour folding stretcher.

This equipment contributes to better training for volunteers and enables them to respond more effectively when called upon to provide assistance in real-life situations.

Support for the Rhodes Regional Branch of the Hellenic Red Cross

This donation is one of Farma of Rhodes Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and was intended to address the actual needs of the Rhodes Regional Branch of the Greek Red Cross.

Nevertheless, the volunteers’ work is ongoing, and the need for equipment and support never ceases. For this reason, anyone wishing to learn more about the work of the Greek Red Cross or to contribute to its efforts can visit its official website or social media pages.

Below is the thank-you letter from the Rhodes Regional Branch of the Hellenic Red Cross.
