New Donation from Farma of Rhodes to the Dimylia & Eleousa Volunteer Group (EODE)
Support for Volunteer Initiatives in Rhodes
Farma of Rhodes has made a new donation to the Dimylia & Eleousa Volunteer Group (EODE) to help cover some of its needs during the wildfire season.
During the summer months, when the risk of fire is heightened, proper preparation and the necessary equipment are particularly important for volunteers on the ground.
The Work of EODE
The Dimylia & Eleousa Volunteer Group operates in Rhodes and participates in fire prevention and response efforts, as well as in other situations where volunteer assistance is needed.
During the fire season, team members conduct patrols and remain on standby to assist wherever needed. At the same time, through their efforts, they contribute to the protection of the island’s forested areas and natural environment.

The Donation from Farma of Rhodes
This year’s donation was intended to meet the team’s needs for equipment used during its activities.
Farma of Rhodes donated firefighting equipment, such as nozzles, couplings, adapters, and valves for fire hoses so that volunteers would have additional resources available to meet the needs of the summer season.
This donation builds on the Farm’s previous support for EODE and is one of Farma of Rhodes Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
The needs continue throughout the summer
While this donation may cover some needs, EODE’s work continues throughout the entire wildfire season. Volunteers need equipment, supplies, and resources that allow them to remain on standby and respond when needed.
Anyone who would like to learn more about the activities of the Dimylia & Eleousa Volunteer Group or to support it can find more information on the EODE’s official website.
