Farma of Rhodes made a donation to the Volunteer Disaster Prevention Team – EOPK CB Dodecanese, supporting the work of volunteers active in forest firefighting in Rhodes. 

Farma of Rhodes participated in the effort to support the team in purchasing a new water tanker truck, which will be used for fire prevention and support operations during the fire season. 

The work of EOPK CB Dodecanese

The EOPK CB Dodecanese has been active for years in the field of forest firefighting and civil protection on the island of Rhodes. Its members volunteer for patrols, preventive fire safety measures, and support operations during fires and emergencies. 

At the same time, the team contributes to environmental protection efforts and actively supports the local community.

Farma’s Support

The contribution from Farma of Rhodes helped bolster the team’s operational equipment with a new 6-ton water tanker. 

This vehicle will be used to refuel fire trucks and support firefighting operations, particularly during the summer months when needs increase significantly.

This support has helped EOPK CB Dodecanese expand its capabilities in the field and respond more promptly to incidents requiring rapid intervention.
